tonight, i:



knitted.

watched the old MTV Britney Spears documentary: For the Record.

had an intense Insanity workout.

and now, i'm laying in bed, eating apple slices, and drinking a pumpkin pie protein shake.

while i was laying on the floor after my work out, i remembered a concert i saw almost exactly 2 years ago.  it was one of the best concerts i've ever been to, one that i'll remember for the rest of my life (&& which i wrote about here).



it was a Sleep for Sleepers show, and even though i can't remember how it all sounded, i will never forget the way their music that night made me feel.



and tonight, i was thinking about the "California" by Copeland cover they did (the original doesn't even compare), so i decided to YouTube the song and see if i could find an equally amazing cover.



and when this video came up, i had to stop myself from crying:

the video of that song on the same exact night. (i would be lying if i said i haven't watched the video at least 5 times already.)



this video doesn't do the real life thing ANY justice, but it's the closest i will ever be to that evening ever again.  and it makes my heart hurt in a terrible and amazing way. <3
