Laying on ethan’s chest while relishing the feel of his fingers through my hair.
A 3-hour long conversation with my little sister—catching up and laughing and speaking french to each other.
The process of arriving at work and starting the day: opening the blinds to see the trees outside. Turning on my computer and wrapping my sweater around the back of my chair. Preparing the perfect blend of freshly brewed coffee and creamer and breathing a sigh of relief after taking that first heavenly sip. Those morning rituals make being at work a little more lovely.
Finishing The Magician’s Nephew. The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe is my favorite book of all-time and The Magician’s Nephew was an amazing prelude.
Lying on the grass in my backyard--listening to the birds and feeling the sun’s rays breathe deep into my skin.
ColorSensational Lipstain. <3 Just knowing it’s on makes me feel that much more glamorous and feminine—kinda like playing dress-up. :)
Waking up from nights of that good, hard, deep sleep.
A lovely little pedicure...and the sight of my pretty painted toeses afterward.
Visiting Sprout’s Marketplace and leaving with a bag full of fresh cherries, bananas, and apricots.
Making plans for the weekend, which promise to include: beach sunsets and margaritas, poolside barbecues, and a visit to the Roller Coaster Capital of the World (Six Flags Magic Mountain).
Knowing that my dear friend's husband is home on R&R from deployment. <3
