san francisco:)

i am eagerly counting down the days (and maybe the hours and minutes and seconds) until i land in san francisco.  i have no idea what our exact plans are (and who wants exact plans?), but here are some things i'm hoping we get to do while we are there:

a.  take lots of pictures in and in front of our really cute hotel.

b.  take the cable car. (we've both been to san francisco a thousand and one times and have still never taken the signature san francisco cable car ride!)

c.  go shopping in union square.

d.  browse all the shops/check out the entertainment at fisherman's wharf.

e.  eat clam chowder out of a bread bowl.

f.  visit golden gate park.

g.  check out all the cute hippy shops on haight + ashbury.

h.  go to chinatown to get delicious gai me bows. (i have no idea if that's how it's actually spelled.  basically they are these chinese pastry rolls with sugar and butter baked inside.  they are divine.)

i.  get the complimentary evening glass of wine from our hotel.

j.  take pictures in front of the golden gate bridge.

k.  walk around the city at night. (i REALLY hope we get to do this.  there is something about cities at night that make me feel alive and peaceful and adventurous.)

l.  laugh.  take a million pictures.  wear whatever ridiculous outfits we want.  make money no object.  see sights we've never seen before.  be adventurers<3
