+it's friday. cue happy dance.



+it's gloomy outside and i'm OBSESSED with it.  i LOVE this weather.



+just had the healthiest lunch EVAR and it was so delicious, to top it all off: whole wheat tortilla, garlic hummus spread, slices of cucumber, shredded carrots, avocado, topped with feta cheese.  and now mango for dessert:)



+i've been a lot more motivated this week and a lot happier.  so far this week i've: organized some of the house kitchen cupboards.  scrubbed down some of the house kitchen cupboards.  got started on organizing the pictures in my computer.  started working on a blog about deployment.  scheduled my english assessment for school.  bought new sheets and a new pillow. 



+i also changed my work schedule this week, which means i will be off an hour and a half earlier.  i'm ecstatic about it.  it means i'll be at work earlier in the morning, when it's quieter and i'll have more chances to see the sunrise.  it means that i'll beat morning traffic and afternoon traffic.  it also means that i'll have a lot of extra time in the afternoons for all the things i want to do.

it's in my nature to get ahead of myself and start making to-do lists about all the things i'm going to do with the extra time i'll have, but i'm trying not to get ahead of myself.  either way, i'm excited because i feel like it opens all kinds of possibilities for my days.



+i went thrifting last night...and got a blank bebe tank top and a pair of black forever 21 shorts for 7 DOLLAS.  thrifting is growing on me.  plus, that kind of spending i can justify;)  i can't wait to wear both of them this weekend.



+speaking of this weekend, ethan and i are getting away.  on wednesday, i was daydreaming about holding ethan's hand while we sipped coffee and walk the streets of a small town.  i texted ethan and told him that i want to get away with him.  so, last night, his sweet self booked us a hotel in a place that's not here.  it's within driving distance to temecula (our favorite place) and i am BEYOND excited. i  can't wait to hold ethan's hand while walking main street.  get butterscotch rootbeer at our favorite soda shop.  peer in the windows of all the little antique shops.  just get away and forget and be together.  PLUS, he asked me out on a date on saturday night:) i'm so ready for the romance of it all.  my boyfriend is the sweetest for planning the whole thing<3



+and tonight...tonight i have big plans.  to get my toes done.  to put the new sheets on my bed.  to do laundry.  to pack for the weekend:)
