Info Post
so only one more hour and i will be on my way to the east coast :)

i had a bit of a setback yesterday; turns out my flight lands in viriginia, 2 to 3 hours away from baltimore, where i had WANTED to land.  i was a basket case most of the day, trying to work stuff out with the airline so that i could land in baltimore, but they weren't sympathetic or helpful at all.

buuuuut, ryan, being the willing guy he is, agreed to trek out to virginia to pick me up.

what a nightmare.  things never go the way you plan!  on the upside, i'm still going and i think most of our plans will remain the same...doing some hiking, a day in DC, and a visit to hershey, pennsylvania.  it should be a fun trip.  i'm anxious to see some new soil...especially soil that isn't californian!

i'm a little nervous about the flight.  as you can see in one of my previous posts, i think Americans have gotten far too comfortable again and that worries me.  but if i want to experience life, i have to take a risk, so hopefully everything will be okay :)  if i get home in one piece, i will be extremely thankful!

as of today, it is now 50 days (7 weeks) till i'll see ethan again.  when i think about it in days, rather than weeks, it actually doesn't seem so bad.  between this trip, thanksgiving, christmas and new years, the time should fly by, so for that i'm thankful. :)

there is a praise i would like to share which is for the women that have recently entered into my life.

until just recently, most of my friends have always been guys, and while guys are a lot of fun and can be very entertaining, i have found that they cannot minister to my heart the way that my women friends can.  i love that, and i have felt that God has continued to provide me with new opportunities to minister to different women in return.  it has been wondrous new territory for me, and my prayer is that God can use me to help all the women i come in contact with and develop deep, lasting friendships with those around me.
