prayer

just a quick prayer request or two:



my grandpa has just been diagnosed with liver cancer and has several tumors.  his prognosis is 3-12 months without treatment and up to 2 years with.  they believe his body is too weak to sustain treatment, so please pray for healing for him.  if not, then physical strength to withstand treatment, and at very least, a memorable last few months on this earth.



also, prayer for my best friend, katelyn.  she is striving to reach God again and i know she feels far from Him.  she feels that she is never going to reach her dreams and she was encouraged by a close friend that "yea, she is finally growing up."  please pray that she lets go of her dreams, but that she lets God restore them with His.  pray that she may have enough weakness to let go and let God be her strength.  pray that she may live with a childlike faith.  pray that she may find joy in even the most bleak of circumstances.
