He is still good

this past weekend was rough; not because of anything that happened, but because of things i learned.  fears i faced.  hurts i released.



monday morning, i went to work feeling empty and sad.



after preparing my coffee and starting my computer,

the below song came on.



i'd heard it once before on memorial day weekend

and it stuck with me.



i hummed the words to myself the rest of the day

and once i got home,

i watched the video and cried and worshipped and cried and raised my hands and cried.



i love how God loves us.

i needed that song this week

and i know He knew that

and i know it was Him who blessed me with it.

it is painful and exhausting and taxing on our souls.



but God is still here.

He is still good.



and for that,

i praise Him.
