the loveliest

i had a lovely weekend.

like, the loveliest.

friday night: laid in bed and drank chocolate soda and watched a ton of hilarious videos on youtube.

saturday: slept in (for the first time in what feels like forever.  it was glorious).  got all my cleaning + laundry done.  went to the orange county swap meet and got 9--count 'em, 9!--new VHS tapes and a girly Forever 21 peasant top for...18 dollas!  what up!  i was so happy cruisin out of that place with all my plastic bags.  then, i came home and did what i have a really hard time doing: relaxing.  i drank my favorite white wine and read magazines and danced around my kitchen with this song on repeat while making spicy honey chicken for dinner.  it was such a fun party for one.

i then proceeded to watch angels in the outfield and snow white while i finished knitting a scarf for my little sister. :)

sunday: finished all my Christmas shopping online.  paid bills.  edited my blog a wee bit.  studied for finals.  watched the great mouse detective.  talked to my brother on the phone.

it was such a rejuvenating weekend.  and i think that's how most every weekend should be.
